1. Our approach
NJS supplies personalised digital content and services immediately after successful payment. We do not operate a blanket “no refunds” policy. This policy does not limit any cancellation right, refund, repair, repeat performance, price reduction or other remedy that applicable law gives you.
2. Immediate supply and cooling-off cancellation
Before going to Stripe Checkout, we ask you to expressly request immediate supply and acknowledge that, once supply begins, you may lose a statutory right to cancel during a cooling-off period where the law permits this.
For UK digital content not supplied on a tangible medium, the 14-day cancellation right can end once supply begins only after the required express consent and acknowledgement. If those requirements are not met, the legal position may differ. Other jurisdictions may provide different rights.
3. When to contact us
Please contact us if:
- you were charged more than once for the same purchase;
- NJS cannot deliver or activate the product you paid for;
- a genuine technical failure prevents you using a material purchased feature and we cannot fix it within a reasonable time;
- the supplied digital content or service is faulty, materially not as described or does not meet a mandatory legal standard; or
- exceptional circumstances mean a refund should reasonably be considered.
Where appropriate, we may first restore access, correct the problem, repeat performance or offer another remedy permitted by law. This does not prevent you from using a statutory remedy that applies.
4. How to request a refund
Email admin@notjustsalary.com with the email address used for your NJS account, the approximate payment date, the product purchased, the last four digits or Stripe receipt/reference if available, and a short description of the issue. Do not email a full card number or security code.
We may ask for reasonable information to identify the transaction and investigate the request. We aim to respond promptly, but complex or provider-dependent issues can take longer.
5. How approved refunds are paid
Approved refunds are sent through Stripe to the original payment method unless applicable law or the payment provider requires otherwise. Once initiated, the time for funds to appear depends on Stripe, the payment method and your bank. We do not charge a refund fee.
A full refund may end access to the refunded product and unused entitlements associated with it. A partial remedy affects access only to the extent reasonably connected with that remedy.
6. Statutory rights
Your statutory rights remain unaffected. UK consumers may have remedies under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 where digital content is not of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose or as described. UAE consumers have rights including accurate information, fair dispute resolution and remedies for defective goods or services under applicable consumer law.
