HOW YOUR RESULT WORKS

Your result starts with what matters to you.

NJS combines what you've told us matters, the facts we know about the opportunity and the evidence available for each part of the decision.

If we don't know something, we don't pretend we do.

One structured view of the decision.

NJS brings the relevant parts of the opportunity together, then shows what the available evidence can support.

YOUR DECISION REVIEW
  • Score, where enough evidence exists
  • Strengths
  • Trade-offs
  • Worth Confirming
Your priorities, established information and the factors that apply to your situation are organised into a Decision Review. The review can include a score when enough evidence exists, plus strengths, trade-offs and points worth confirming.

Your priorities change what matters.

Two people can look at the same offer and care about completely different things. NJS uses the priorities you select to make the review more relevant to the decision you're actually making. Your priorities influence which evidence needs to be ready and what your review brings forward, while the wider evidence that applies to your decision is still considered.

The same offer can produce a differently emphasised review for two people with different priorities, while relevant wider evidence is still considered.

Priorities personalise the review. They do not turn missing information into evidence.

We only score what we can actually support.

NJS uses the information you've entered, confirmed or provided through your offer. Missing information isn't quietly treated as good or bad. Known, unknown and not applicable are kept as different states.

KNOWN

30 days annual leave

NJS can use it as established evidence.

UNKNOWN

Hybrid flexibility is unclear

NJS does not assume an answer. It may become something Worth Confirming.

NOT APPLICABLE

You are not relocating

Relocation does not count as missing or reduce the coverage of your review.

RELEVANT BY DESIGN

Your review only uses what applies to your decision.

Relocation, childcare, commute and other factors can matter enormously to one person and not at all to another. NJS doesn't force irrelevant categories into every comparison. If a factor does not apply, it sits outside that part of the review rather than lowering its completeness.

Sometimes NJS won't show a score.

That's intentional. If there isn't enough established evidence to support a useful numerical result, NJS would rather withhold the score than give you false precision. A score is only shown when enough of the relevant decision is supported by established information.

You can still see useful facts and questions while the score is withheld.

BEFORE A SCORE IS SHOWN

  • Enough of the relevant categories are established
  • Enough applicable evidence is supported
  • Your selected priorities are ready to assess

The score is only one part of your Decision Review.

The useful part is understanding why the opportunity looks the way it does.

WHAT LOOKS STRONG

The parts of the opportunity that align well with what you've told us matters.

THE TRADE-OFF

Where gaining something in one area may mean giving something up somewhere else, such as more money with a longer working week.

WORTH CONFIRMING

Important information that's missing, unclear or worth asking about before you decide, such as how fixed the office requirement is.

Upload or enter it yourself. The result uses the same framework.

If you upload an offer, AI can help extract details for you to review. If you enter the details manually, they go into the same structured comparison. Once reviewed, the same established information is treated the same way.

SAME STRUCTURED FRAMEWORKYour Decision Review

AI helps us read your offer. It doesn't make the decision for you. Extraction may not be perfect, which is why you review the information before it is used. The Decision Review is produced by structured NJS decision logic.

Some things aren't on the offer letter.

How you feel about the opportunity matters too. NJS captures your own view of the role alongside the practical evidence, without pretending a feeling is the same thing as a contractual fact.

Your gut feeling

If you choose to share how you feel, it can form one part of your review. It does not override the practical evidence or make the decision for you.

Your household

A job move can affect a partner or spouse, children, childcare, relocation, disruption and the household financial position. NJS considers these where they apply, not as mandatory factors for everyone.

Your information stays yours.

NJS uses your information to build your review. You can delete saved Decision Reviews or your account and associated customer data.

NJS can organise the decision.
Only you can make it.

Your result is designed to help you understand the evidence, trade-offs and unanswered questions. It isn't a recommendation to accept, reject or negotiate an offer.
